Want to be Prepared

I am excited! Maybe on Saturday morning me, Micah and maybe the Suttons and maybe somebody else are going fishing up the river. I want to be prepared for that trip and I also want to be prepared for the Lord's coming. In Matthew 24:45-51 it says
44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
49 And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,
51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Hey, Nate.

Great start to your new blog. I wanted Bek to find a good picture of you that we took when you were here, but it looks like you found a good one.

Great scriptures, too. Glad your taking the high calling of being a servant of Christ seriously.

Would that we all felt driven to be God's workers. Far too many are too caught up in themselves to make any significant sacrifices of their time or desires to live for Him, even though He withheld nothing to restore us to what was originally lost in the Garden of Eden.

I, too, feel the calling to equip myself (and others) and to be fully prepared for His coming.

God Bless you, my brother.
